bats and swallows
criss cross pale violet sky
still pool of evening
shimmers with flowers
curling moon trees circle round me
holding off the world
I cough up midges and grief
geese form a heart shaped formation and then dissolve sometimes love doesn’t look like itself
in the temple of this perfect evening
I can’t even miss you
